Paul Dongha

Paul Dongha has often been regarded as a visionary in the realm of AI & technological advancement, especially in the financial services sector. In 2007, Paul became Head of Derivatives Product Control for HSBC Bank, later ascending to the role of IT Project Manager for the Finance Transformation Programme at HSBC. In this role, Paul spearheaded the implementation of a centralised Finance Accounting Rules platform for the banking giant. Paul has also been Climate Risk IT Program Manager for HSBC, after completing stints as an IT Director at Commerzbank and Credit Suisse. In 2021, Paul led projects that resolved issues related to bias and discrimination in AI systems in his capacity as AI Ethics Principal Researcher at Fujitsu Research of Europe.

His expertise as a technologist is accompanied by his innate leadership skills.
